Olfactory Storytelling

We believe in the ability of scent to build brand affinity.

We are a narrative led design studio and collective founded by Timothy Han, with a particular interest in creating multisensory and olfactory experiences that help to bring your brand to life.

We use a character lead lead narrative approach to tell stories about your brand that better engage with your consumer by creating a deeper and more meaningful connection. Scent has been proven to enhance customer experiences by both enhancing visual recall and build brand affinity. We call this process Olfactory Branding.

We work with forward facing brands and individuals who seek a new way of thinking and a new way of engaging. Our work through storytelling extends to work within the worlds of fashion, beauty, art and private residences.

We seek out innovation and do not believe in the ordinary

About Timothy

Timothy is a Creative Directory with nearly 25 years' experience working within the beauty and fashion industry.

Timothy originally studied fashion at ESMOD in Paris and worked at Dior and Galliano. He then chose to to refine his knowledge of design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London before founding Brand to Life, a design consultancy who created experiences for the likes of Audi, Browns Fashion, Diageo NBV, London Fashion Week, Smirnoff, Vashi and The Peninsula London amongst others.

In 2014 Timothy founded his award winning eponymous perfume brand that helped to establish him as a globally recognised talent within the perfume industry. He was also instrumental in helping the United Nations to launch the first steering group aimed at promoting sustainability within the luxury sector before it was a thing.

Timothy is fascinated by the dichotomy that exists between the analogue and technology worlds; and how the two can co-exist together to deliver new kinds of experiences.

Timothy lives in London with his Siberian Husky Balto and his two children.
